An Introduction from the GSL (Group Scout Leader)

I would like to welcome you to the 1st Cuckhamsley website aimed at providing the necessary information needed to support the group. Here you can find all the information you need for parents wishing to enrol their children for the first time into Beavers, Cubs or Scouts or further information about the group in general.

I took the opportunity over the summer to help with the Cub camp; playing indians and building teepee’s, not to mention the Beavers joining them for an evening for a water pistol fight. I also spent a day with the Scouts at their camp in Almondsbury, Bristol, where I got to experience their water slide techniques, it’s surprising what a piece of PVC, a bit of washing up liquid and a bucket of water can do!!!
