Beavers

(Tuesday evenings 5.30pm – 6.30pm)

By the end of term last year, the Beaver colony hit full capacity, which is a first for many years and is absolutly great news.

The Beavers didn’t have summer camp this year but did enjoy meeting up with the Cubs on their summer camp up at ‘Court Hill’, playing Cowboys and Indians, and getting on their war paint, before heading into the woods with the cubs to have their water pistol fight and enjoyed a BBQ to go with it.

‘Wide Games’ were also played with a very large parachute which keeps the Beavers very active.

Looking ahead to the new term, the schedule should now have gone out to all the parents. If you have not received a copy or would like to see what the beavers typically get up to, click here to view their programme of activities

As a beaver, the primary goal is to get them to respect them selves, but more importantly – others, and to let them experience and gain an insight into new skills prior to moving up to the cubs. Most of all to have fun and make it enjoyable, which 1st Cuckhamsley prides itselve on.
